I choose the Go!Animate presentation site because a final product was easily obtained through clear instructions, and it appealed to my interest in creating animation (I’m not in any way a gaming programmer). Although the voices were monotone, I thought this added a comical aspect to the animation.
I would either suggest this site to be used in Writing or a program that our Computer specialist would use in her enrichment class. I envision the students enjoying seeing their animation coming to life.
Each week, my students have weekly work plans that help them manage their time and promote responsibility. I am always looking for educational incentives as a “reward” for those who have used their time wisely and completed their work plans.
I know that you can add you own voice, but it is probably an upgrade feature. I think that a program like this could really help support a reading/English class that is working on setting, or play production, etc. I guess the sky is really the limit depending on the users creativity. BTW, nice animal jokes. The monotonous computer generated voices did make it a bit difficult to understand some of them but they were "punny" to say the least.
I chose to try out each of the different programs to get a feel for how each of them work. I Liked all of them they were all pretty easy to use websites and I think they could really interest students and keep their attention.

I could see using the go animate as an easy tool for having students explain what they learned or summarize a story. I created a brief go animate to just explore the features of the site. I could see using this in an English class and having students sort of rewrite some of the stories that they read. For example, the 8th graders at my school are learning about Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet; I think this could be a really great site for rewriting the dialogue into something more modern and easily understood. They do this activity already but I think go Animate could add another dimension to the project.
ToonDo post: http://www.toondoo.com/cartoon/6195588 (I only have one page here, I was trying to make a book but I was having problems with it)
The ToonDoo site could be a great way to have students create their own story. I know that a lot of my students are big graphic novel fans I think it could be really cool if we had students create their own graphic novels of their favorite stories to display in the media center.

Finally, I think Prezi is an interesting twist on a more traditional PowerPoint. I could see this being useful in creating presentations that could supplement a lesson that students could view at a home. I could also see having students use it in their presentations particularly in our careers modules classes where they discuss marketing and advertizing and the role these things play on us as consumers.
Michelle, That's a great idea regarding summarizing or perhaps just rewriting a scene for literature class. This could be for either the GoAnimate or ToonDoo site.

Thank you for introducing this site.
